- HMV In The Dark Corridor Where The Bus Drops You Off. The Metal Section Is At The Far Right End Of The Shop - Not Good For Lazy People Like Me :P
- Alan fearnleys... top notch, though for mainstream tunes .. Goto HMV/Virgin as Fearnleys is more vinyl. Good for tunes that the 'majors' dont do though!!
- HMV I Suppose.
- Alan Fearnly's on Linthorpe Road - you dont even have to pay the booking fee if you buy tickets for gigs off him
- HMV, why not.
- alan firmleys
- ALAN FEARNLEY RECORDS IS CLASS!! IT HAS EVERY NOSTALGIC OR HARD TO FIND CD/TAPE/RECORD IN EXISTENCE AND THEY HAVE A BRILLIANT STOCK OF PICTURE VINYL AND CARD BOARD CUT OUT STAND UPS (I BOUGHT A PRINCE ONE JUST THE OTHER DAY)
- Alan Fearnleys Records all the way people, great service with a top selection well priced too.
- Psyche Records!!! Its the only place to buy Vinyl from!!!!!!!!!!
- fearnleys
- hmv middlesbrough cleveland centre
- Alan Fernleys Records is quite good, The Record shop in forbes buildings was class, but it closed. However an online version of the shop is available.
- Fearnleys on Linthorpe Road
- I can't remember the name of the only decent record place in Boro but its on Linthorpe road, just up from the House (pub). Other than that you can wade in with the slime in HMV or Virgin and try to avoid the charva's theiving. Someone's actaully tried to plant a CD on me before coming out of Virgin. I suggest mail order. Coz there ain't much there that's not in the (wretch) charts.
- Alan Fearnley
- fat dog records and fusion records in whitby
- whsmith r crap - they avn't got any gd cds.
I get ma cds from hmv
- i suppose alen fearnley
- hmv was the only place really
- Alan Fearnleys is cool, the bloke puts them on his decks for ya to listen to, also HMV in the Cleveland Centre, not staurdays as lots of kids go and hang around there, cant get in at all!!
- Alan fearnleys
- there arent really any decent shops to buy my kind of music, its all rap and rnb now
- Concepts in Durham is a good spot- eerything from Punk to emo to metal. they even have the New monkey tapes int here for all you Charve Chimps.
- Try forbes building upstairs there is a cool second hand record shop and the guy knows his stuff unlike the nimbos in woolies
- Alan Fearnly's. Top notch, but good luck fathoming out his opening hours.
- Fearnley's or Play, both on Linthorpe Road (Fearnley's for vinyl)
- Take a hike to forbes buildings, good second hand shop upstairs and wont get ripped off.
- There are no good indie shops in boro, Alan Fernelys is good for obsure stuff, but otherwise go to leeds.
- hmv, alan fernly
- HMV - although, the main reason that attracts so many customers is because its generally filled with men and young lads, and the girls idea of fun is having a drool over them all!
- Alan Fearnley Records on Linthorpe Road
- remember hamiltons? that ws a record shop. VINYL! they had listening booths they ordered me the velvets 1969 once... long gone...alan fearnleys?
- its on parliment rd cant remember the name
- All the music shops are full of R'N'B and dance crap.
- hmv top shop
- Alan Fernley records, next to The House (formerly The Empire) on Linthorpe Road. He got everything I ever requested including some stuff by a great Brazillian thrash metal band - Rats de Poro.
- Didnt think there where any oh yeah me i sell cd's come get em £3 a cd I also do pc games and software and playstation games
- The guys who turn up at the University bar/restaurant at dinnertime now and again. They always have a big selection of rare CD's.
- AUSTINS THE BEST EVER
- The one in Forbes Buildings kicks arse.
- HELL, I GOT ALL MY CD'S FROM HMV, EVEN VINYL.
- HMV , Virgin Megastore , (Our Price has closed down) , WHSmith , Boots (Basement Floor) .
- Virgin Mega Stores
- Try Fernleys. Cool cool shop, ran by a lovely man.
- virgin megastores just been built in the new captain cook square
- Alan Fernleys on Linthorpe Road, Everything you can think of is sold here
but mainly in Vinyl, a realy old type record shop that looks like its gona
fall down but great if you need to find something unusual, deleted or speacial.
- Austins Records on Parliment Road best place for vinyl and oldies!
- Fearnley's used to be great - the smell of dust and vinyl - unbeatable
- We have Virgin Megastores and the catchphrase they use is "The only virgin in the Boro". Not to nice are they!!???!!
- HMV, Cleveland centre
- There are four Music shops in Middlesbrough, they are:
- HMV, they have a large range of music, but they are probably the same as anywhere else in the country.
- Our Price, they have a smaller range than HMV, but they do have a very good selection for dance and house music.
- Playback, this is a store that is mostly devoted to C.Ds even though they do sell a small sellection of cassettes. This is probably the cheapest place to buy C.Ds from in Middlesbrough and they have the biggest selection.
- Alan Fearnleys (224 Linthorpe Road), I would rate this as one of the best in Middlesbrough. They have a very good service for ordering records for you. This is the best place to order house and dance.
But there's also: Austins Records (Half way down Parliament Road) and a second hand record shop upstairs in the Forbes Building (can't remember what its called though).
