- everywhere is brilliant when folk and boat is on. get out to middlewich and enjoy yourselves. the rest of the time, there's nothing at all. except at cat's bar every friday, which is ace.
- No music venues until the folk and boat festival in June, when the festival is here is is like a folk version of Glastonbury, the Monsters of Folk. Every pub has a group of people with Beards and tankards singing about canals and how wonderful life was 100 years ago.
