The Stuff We Can't Fit In Somewhere Else
- A great place to be religious - churches from loads of different denominations, an active synagogue, a missionary college and the headquarters of the Jehovah's Witness organisation. Fine for atheists too (!), but nothing much there if you're a Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu or anything else, however. But a lot of organised clubs and wholesome activities aimed at young people, if that's your bag.
Rhodes Farm, on the Ridgeway, is a specialist residential centre for young people with eating disorders who are referred there by their GPs.

- Copthall Swimming pool is a good sized pool and they have a fantastic Fireworks display every November.
