• there is no skake board spots anymore they have all been vandalised due to lack of interest because of drugs,
• The Skate park has a 4 foot quarter pipe, a knee height 10 feet long grind rail a mellow concrete hip thing, a long mellow bank and an extremly long curb running the width of the park. There is also knee height grindbox which is the main thing we skate nowadays.The park is in need of repair badly but the group who has built it (millbrook Youth Group) has recently disowned us. So it will get worse as it is already in a bad state. Down in the main town there are some walls which are waxed they are about thigh height. You can do tricks off them but they are quite rough and sketchy. There are a nice set of steps up at the Liberal Hall, chest height and quite long, the run ups very limited and you have to dodge cars on the landing . Just across the road there are some nice waist height walls to do tricks off, can be a bust cos its someones garden wall. There is millbrook school it has a nice bank and a grind ledge. The steps have been rendered unskateable due to the holes appearing in front of them. There is also some big grass gaps to skate, they are quite long and drop about 2 foot.There is a picnic table which can be skated but not approved. The caretaker won't be pleased. The main thing is the handrail its very low, very steep and very long. Its located at the back of the Tanyard, it has been heavily session by my mate STU THE BLADER DUDE . I've had two goes both resulting in painful contact with the rail, Stu bust his knee trying to jump the steps which are big.
