Buskers, Street Entertainers
- Watch out for the guy with the big army rucksack - "Hi, I'm just going around the city asking for change from people - have you got any change?" Makes a lot of bird and dog noises.
Theres a black guy who usually hangs around outside Sainsburys. He's French and homeless and has a trolley filled with junk.
There's usually a chav who asks for 80p for a bus - no one gives him anything because he asks every day - must be saving up for his own bus.
- Busker outside McDonalds - voice like chocolate - smooooooooth!
- Plenty of Special Brew quaffing dolescum and failed crack addicts pleading for money, "a light", fags, etc. Just tell them to sod off and you'll be okay.
- David Lovesy and Sean McDermott run some of the comedy from The Madcap in Wolverton. See The Madcap for forthcoming events. In particular are the 'Whose Turn Is It' comedy improvisation nights which include various local actors and comedians including Joy Parker, Steve Clarke and Dave Pibworth. This is real audience participation stuff and is gaining popularity with each show.
- There this guy who is a really gud breakdancer but he tends 2 stalk girls in the city - its just plain creepy!
- parker and tim juggling and flame tricks availble to hire now!!!
- Look out for Dancin' Joe, decked out like one of the so solid crew or an East La gangster, dances on request (ask for the 'wiggly worm'!) Well known feature of the shopping centre.
- well anybody who lives in MK must have herd of "dancing Ian" hes soooo koel!!!!
- too many bums
- The bloke that used to run through stony high street was rubber
- milky form milkymoments
- For all your musical needs in Milton keynes and the local area check out http://www.musicmk.org.uk
- Outside entrances to centre:MK. Some cool people who make wire models.
- The crazy crackhead who asks for spare change, he blatently goes and buys crack with the money. also i saw some spare change guy, walk round the corner and get in a BMW, so dont trust em for shxt.
- The dodgy bloke outside MacD's scrounging (Marcus) is a scag-head, don't give him money. He gets enough cash from nicking and then selling perfume from Boots! There used to be a scary silver man who was nutso. Gives me the willies to even think about that stalking maniac.
- not that many, a few in the shopping centre, and out side the openings
- The dodgy carectors in Milton Keynes, theres an interesting bloke playing his recorder near Marks and Spencer's.
- Avoid the dodgy bloke outside McDonalds on a Saturday at all costs...his name is Marcus and he has a reputation for violence and theft.. he is not homeless and has been seen in pubs with wads of cash so please dont give him any money... it would be much better spent on the talented people who have a license to be there.
- Milton Keynes is crap for buskers- YOU HAVE TO PASS A COMMITTEE TO GET A LICENCE TO BUSK IN CMK- Dressing as silver statures and moving every 3 minutes is cool, playing the didjeridu is not :-)
- A Bloke is always outside McDonalds in the city centre asking for some spare change so he can get some fags at the Kiosk.
- There is often a variety of street entertainers and musicians who are licensed to perform throughout the Shopping Centre. I think you contact Rachel Clark at CMK Shopping Management (01908 678641) if you want to find out about performing.
- Strange bloke with long hair, in a dodgy hat, singing in the city
- Buskers usually appear on Saturdays outside the Shopping centre towards the outside market.
- Occasionally in the Shopping Centre but all must have a license.
- There used to be a mad bloke who ran through Stony Stratford high street. Does that count as Street entertainment?
