- There are a good few in Wolverton, home of the Marshall amp, where the-not-now-famous Mansun used to shop for guitars and whatnot. I bought a beautiful Tanglewood acoustic round this way for about 80 quid recently.

- Hollywood Music - good for checking out guitars & amps. Not good for keyboards (go to Chappells).
- creative music in the xscape
- Whilst Creative has a lot of pervy guitars, Hollywood Music has the widest selection of AFFORDABLE guitars in MK and I also found them very helpful when I needed my guitar repaired. Jon was excellent at matching my description of what I wanted to hear to a guitar/amp combination and within my price range.
- THe best place for service and a really helpful advise is Hollywood Music in Wolverton, just next to Tesco. Ask for John. He'll even tune your guitar. I think he's South African.
- Try SigNetMusic.com - internet retailers of ALL Types of musical instruments - from Harmonicas to Tubas, Mandolins to Double Basses, Digital Pianos to Trumpets - almost everything including Electric & Acoustic Guitars and Amps. Based in Milton Keynes - visit them by appointment only via the web. Everything on the web though ! www.signetmusic.com
- the new place in the snowdome is great, Creative Music. go there! they have everythin!
- Theres one in the xscape, though I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me. I spend most of my weekends in there anyway, except don't sit at the 'bar' they have in there for too long cos they'll kick you out like they kick me out every wknd.
- Go to Watford, unfortunately.
- What can I say - Chappells.
- Chappels is well known music shop. It has most things for most instruments.
- Chappells of Bond St in the City Centre ain't bad, but beware of horrendous prices!!

- Hollywood Nights in Wolverton, instruments, p.a., etc., sale and hire.
- Chappell of Bond Street in the main shopping centre stock software, MIDI stuff, guitars, efects, amps, drums, brass, woodwind, keyboards, dance machines, pianos, studio gear, accessories, thousands of printed music books, CDs (Classical. Jazz, Nostalgia, soundtracks and world). Good customer service, staff helpful and friendly, mail order, price promise means that they are not expensive.
Yamaha, Kemble, Marshall, Fender, Boss, Epiphone, Cubase, Sibelius, Clavinova, Buffet, the lists of brands goes on and on.
- *There's one in Wolverton, near Tescos. Apparently the service is quite good. They rent PAs and stuff. * Cherry Court Music in the shopping centre. Sells tab books to instruments.
- Chappell of Bond Street - west end of the shopping centre. Instruments, sheet music, books, CDs. Excellent.
- Hollywood Music in Wolverton are good. Chappells in Central Milton Keynes are big with many sections but only really specialise in Piano's.
- Chappels in CMK, or Hollywood music in Wolverton for good, cheapish 2nd hand guitars and amps.
