Does this affect you? What do you make of it? Cannabis has been reclassified to Class B drug, pushing it back up the scale, perhaps back where it belongs. Drug dealers have responded by pushing up prices to mark the enhanced status of the illicit drug and reflect the current world economic crisis. As the drugs profile has been enhanced by this move dealers are targetting the middle classes. This is in part a response to the global credit crisis hitting the poorest most vulnerable in society... if you're already shopping at Aldi you cant cut back any further! Reports are coming in of Chavs speaking clearly and wearing tweed and sensible shoes in an effort to convince dealers of their place in the market. Dancers from across the Globe will descend on Cheshire to compete at the 'UK Star Studded Championships held at Northwich Memorial Hall on the 1st,2nd & 3rd of August. 10 year old Emma has had surgery for Scoliosis and is now campaigning to raise awareness of the condition and for all children in the UK to have the very simple 'bend forward' test to get an early diagnosis of Scoliosis. She has an online petition at http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/start-testing-for-scoliosis-in-schools. Emma is aiming for 1000 signatures and currently has just short of 300... I'd like to see this figure go through the roof!!! This is an issue close to my heart as my son was diagnosed with adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis at 16 and had surgery last november when he was aged 18 and a half. Many thanks!
