• The China cottage has a great menu at very reasonable prices.
• The baker in the square, Zandres is another take away but certainly not cheap
• Country Park, Mintlaw changing ownership soon - Will get better!!!!!!!!!!!
• the shack venue of the local rat pack, must ascertain am i a bar or a creche. food cheap you get what you pay for.
• If you can help it dont eat in Mintlaw but you can try the Pit as now it has good grub
• THE ONLY PLACES 4 FOOD WULD BE THE FAMOUS ZANRES (WICH NOW HAS SETTING)AND GILLYS WHO DO A MEEN PLATE O CHIPS
• One chipper and two chinkies. Zanres chipper is awright. Service with a smile (not!) The boss "Eddie" is a male stripper in his time off (A gay bar in Peterhead. But saying that, every bloke fae Peterheid's a poof!). There is the aptly named "MINTLAW CHINESE CARRY OUT", where you will meet Sam an' Ella. You are always guarenteed to find something apart from what you ordered in your chinky! Mouse is the house speciality! Then there is the "China Cottage" run by George. Grub is awright, but a just wish that he wid smile or speak to you in a friendly way. He reminds me of the boss guy of that prisoner of war camp series "TENKO". KENDO NAGASAKI watch yer back. Gazza McCallum is banned from here for ordering a chinese over the phone and not picking it up. (What a bad guy!)
• chicken george!the best chinese you'l ever find!
• Zanres dis good fish, but their chips are usually pish. Chinky George's is the chinese - the ither een is mingin - plus ye get and argument we the man himsell.
• Country Park Inn, full of students, nice surroundings shit food. Zanres chipper. All the pubs do meals but you can get burgers and chips at Gillys.
