St Marks Primary School by Neil (Member 10248070) on 24-May-2010
I am attempting to collect facts for a history of the school which was founded in 1884.
In October 1941 the school (then known as Upper Mitcham Junior School) was closed and the pupils transferred to Bond Road School. According to my research, it did not re-open until 1952 when it was re-titled St Marks Primary.
Can anyone confirm this? What was the school building used for during this interval?
Thanks
