• Mike Knowles was a mate of mine since childhood through to our teams. My best memory of Mike was that "although some people dont it" he is an ABSOLUTELY PHENOMINAL" drummer! Iv played guitar myself for 15 years but Mike has played drums since he could walk! I remember going round his house after mucking about on our BMX bikes and Mike would put on some Queen or Led Zeppelin tapes and play along beat for beat! He only liked GOOD MUSIC mind you so i couldnt play along on my guitar at the time, never mind though coz we still managed to wake up the neighbours!!
• Some good bands play in Busbys...such as the River Crows! The Star sometimes do jamming sessions where people who play a musical instrument can come along and express their talent and creativity.
• Everwicked rock!! What happened to Morpeth? They were ace, especailly the guitarist....so, so hot!! but the singers hair...what the fu*k??
• Breach Of The Peace are a great up and coming band in Montrose. If you haven't heard of them checkout their website it's www.breachofthepeace.co.uk they have so far played in Aberdeen, Perth, Edinburgh and are in the process of going to play in Glasgow and St Andrews next. I'll keep you all posted......
