• dave jape, he does the guitars of a local montrose band called slipshod. he usually has a keyboard player & a bass player too, they play montrose occassionally (such as the mercantile golf club, the black abbot, etc) but more often they are to be found in various pubs & clubs outwith the montrose area. places like brechin & aberdeen. anybody wanting to book this excellent band are advised to look 'em up the yellow pages. distance nae object

The MOnk, a.k.a Cowie, a.k.a That Man, a.k.a Butman, a.k.a The Destroyer, ha, He can always be found up the town, looking for a Sub. Also all the buddy's Smarty, Reid, McCurrouch, Moono, Leaskie, Alfie Rob (Hilarious), Moore, Sam, Yon Bit, The Starks, , The Coopers (Legends).... Plus all the Girls too, too many crazy people to mention like. Can't forget the best of them all though, my best mate slick, he can be found most days wandering around boozers selling knocked off watches, fake purse's (they are actually good quality), even clothes etc... • Right well you have homeless paul who claims to have committed suicide TWICE! This lassy jen colyer man is she blonde! But in a funny way like! And a witch called lynsey dakers who is convinced she actually is a witch!
• some geezer dressed as a clown on stilts can be found in the high street juggling and making balloon animals. at christmas when the high street closes to cars for the day all sorts of entertainment

• BART SIMPSON - Bears a striking resemblence to Albert Einstein (withoot the brains) Can be seen loitering in the Black Abbot ha'en a wee swally. Has been know tae gi ye a tune on his geetar (which can often result in him gettin a slap fae soor faced Aileen ahent the bar!) His side-kick Jimmy (Carpetmeister) Reid winna be far awa - likely tae be stottin aboot , lashin guiness doon his throat (and probably ower half the fowk sittin aboot). These twa are highly entertaining - which is just as well as there's feck all else happenin in the Black Hole (sorry!...Abbott)

• The Gouranga men occasionally like to bug you. They can be quite entertaining.

• Butch Dingle on a saturday night can be seen entertaining the crowds with his lorry impressions.
• You've always got the odd youngster who likes to show off-they know who they are!!!
• The only street entertainers are the fights for a taxi after the pubs come out.
• Butch Dingle on a frid/sat night is good street entertainment after a night out eating a Kebab on a bin lid outside the star.
• Vast selection of "Montrose Celebrities" to be seen around town. Those 18-30odd losers who love attention, think theyre better than everyone, have fake friends & just swan around being great. These people have no idea of the "outer universe" & are totally laughed at by the normal folk.
• singin' sid ( pro wind up cunt). the guy archibald guy that used to whistle all th time at ye up the high street.
• None at all.
• Saturday night fights are about the only entertainment in the high street.
