- definately our very own big issue sellar, the man is there every morning outside kwik save and stays there till it shuts at night. Go on, give him your pound from the trolley!

- Boxer Earnie Shavers (once went 15 rounds with Mohammed Ali).
- Definately not a cringing cult of celebrity but moreton boasts the presence of a cracking local hero - the super Ray Mathias! With a sun tan all year round, he can be found in the pubs in Moreton discussing his position as Tranmere Rovers' assisstant manager! Really friendly and doesn't carry a piece of arrogance! Quite refreshing!
