Looking for old friends from Piggy Corner by VINCE (Member 10093509) on 6-Apr-2003
Lived in Moseley 1976-1981 Trying to contact old mates from Fighting Cocks - Piggy Corner. Pete the Feet, Biker Steve, Petal, Concord Dave, Andy Nash & Kelly John Forbes who I lost on the ferry to France in 1981 where did he go?
  • Re: Looking for old friends from Piggy Corner by Susan Price (Member 10082478) on 7-Apr-2003
Hi Vince...I can't say your name rings a bell, but I'm glad someone reads this site and has posted a message. I'd just about given up on my quest of finding anyone.
By the way, where's Piggy Corner? That's a new one on me.
Anyway...Pete the Feet is still alive and kicking; and still frequents the 'Fighting Cocks' as it was once known. You'll find him around I'm sure. Last I heard he was still ar... more >>

I remember Piggies Corner well. Do you remember a photo of four guys' arses we had on the wall for a while to annoy the old battleaxe of a landlady? One arse was mine, I think one was Petal's, I can't remember the rest. I would love to find Nick Johnson, the demon pool player who always wore wellies. Anyone got a trace on him?

  • Re: Looking for old friends from Piggy Corner by Lisa McKenzie (Member 10188781) on 9-Jul-2006
Hi, this is Pete the Feet's daughter and I am pleased to say that he is still around and well, he can be found most days in the Fighting Cocks and most evenings in the New Inns. Unfortunately Concord passed away a couple of years ago. The last we heard of Petal he was thriving in Lowestoft and Bike Steve went to Holland years ago, not sure where he is now. Don't know about the others - sorry, Hope this helps. Lisa.

Does anyone remember the golden years of the Oxford Club? (I'm talking 1972-1979.) I'm looking to contact and renew old friendships with those I've lost contact with, and hopefully arrange a re-union. Just for starters, here's a sample of names off the top of my head which I hope will ring some bells.
