Cafes and Coffee Shops
  • No disrespect, but this line "鬼妹除了胸大 有什麼好 " has seolsuriy been stuck in my mind ever since the day (publication day I think) I read it from your blog, or rather her blog. From a man's perspective, definitely the wittiest line I came across this week; it still makes me gag. Honestly, this is what an outspoken (non-鬼妹)lady would say, don't you reckon?
  • Cafe des Amis 491 new cross rd. good quality sandwich bar, Deptford Properly vegetarian cafe and art space bottom of Taners hill open on market days
  • Cafe Creama.
  • MOONBOW JAKES, (dirty) this place could have so much potential. I used to go there but it is so dirty. They have 2 people working, looking bored and they don't clean the tables or collect dishes, is a hole. I know its meant to be a laid back place but no excuse for uncleanliness. Sort it out manager.
  • MOONBOW JAKES. nice, yummy and the record shops cool to!
  • All the dutch style coffee shops have moved on but still places to hang out and look bored. Moonbow Jakes particually good.
  • Cafe Crema - cheap and lovely italian food. And a great laid back atmosphere.
  • "USE YOUR LOAF" Deptford's (i know it's not quite new x) Centre for Social Solidarity 227 Deptford High Street. It is run by the people who use it, on a non-profit, co-operative basis. There,s a cafe every Friday and usually a vid, the food's great and cheap 1.50-2.00. There's good selection of booze too. Other nite's: 1st thurs of the month Guitar nite 8pm; play, sing and listen; Last Thurs Sarf London Radical History Group 8pm; talks about what it's says on the tin; 2nd Tues of the month: Advice Surgery 7pm; advice on worrkers rights, problems at work, benefits housing & more...;2nd Sat of the month 12-3.30pm; book, video, records sale.
