You can tell us more about New Malden.

Cheap Food
  • Cheap Food for Cheap People.
  • Wagamamas
  • Nandos...unbeatable
  • frere jaques if youre loaded - pizza express if youre after a better value, but equally deceny meal - and capaccio (near the station) for THE BEST kebab youll ever eat.
  • I LOVE THE 'WEST CORNWALL' PASTY SHOP IN THE MARKET SQUARE!! They sell absolutely MOUTHWATERING pasties!!! Also - pizza slices and other bread things are sold there, as well as drinks. A full, hot (and healthy) meal for the equivialant price of a McDonalds. I know what I'd go for... [The pasty. o.O;;] ~Midori
  • Caluccio's is good Italian, rather pricey though but it's always nice to sit by the river. Chez Lallee's for Mexican with cod history and friendly staff
  • La Fiesta of course! Make your awn raps, any size, any ingredients max cost £2.20! Its down that road that has games workshop at the end of it, and a barbours shop on it.
  • Deea on richmond road for an excellent curry. It's just opposite the Owl & Pussycat pub, another good place to eat.
  • go to "the mediterranean" restaurant on richmond road, past the station. the men in there are fit! and the hot chocolate is nice.
  • has to be the eden cafe on eden street. Burger and chips is around 2.30, half pounder and chips is three quid. Roughly. Lady at the counters maths aint so hot. Take smokes too, you will need them.
  • Singapore Sam in da food court @ da top of da BEntall Centre. Makes a change from Mc Donalds, Burger King n da otha places wannabe rude boys frequent.
  • Go to blue hawaii in Kingston, near to Kinsgston station. You go up with a bowl and put in a meat, vegetables, a sauce and spices then give it to the BBQ men who cook it. Gets very lively on a friday night due to a man and a giutar bashing out all the golden oldies. There are great drinks- shots and cocktails as well as your regular bottled drinks. Quite expensive but well worth it, go with a large group of friends and book early!!
  • nandos is along portsmouth road,go there if you want friendly service, relatively cheap but yummy food, and a great atmosphere.(and girls, lots of cute portuguese waiters!)
  • There's a really decent Burger Cafe place on Wheatfield Way opposite the Fairfield bus station. I've never known it's name though.
  • Rather good Lebanise in Castle Street & Akbar (Indian) in Richmond Road is cheap & rather exellent
  • If you're looking for a cheap but good curry, go to the East India in Surbiton - you don't get better value for money - 15 for dinner and a few drinks for TWO people.
  • Valentinos restaurant in Surbiton has been my favourite restaurant for a few years - and good value too!
  • Amazon restaurant New Malden - BBQ style restaurant, pick your own selection of meat/fish, vegetables and herbs/spices and have it cooked on the BBQ by the chef. EXCELLENT staff, very friendly - rice cooked to perfection. good selection of fresh veg and pieces (rather than the usual wafer thin frozen slices)of meat. 10 eat as much as you can. Try it! 11/4/99
