- Gravity - they sell guys' and girls' clothes, mostly rockabilly/skate/indie style, as well as jewellery, cards, home accessories, try here for unusual gift ideas
- Gravity in Liverpool Road does a small selection
- Shoe Alley - A Gorgeous Ladies Shoe shop in the alley next to 'on the square' pub. Sells really different shoes and bags and jewellery etc. They are all prices too from £30 - £300!
- Next, Burtons, and not much else!
- galerie opposite the queens gardens is a nice bt small boutique, as are review and infinities (both in the ironmarket). scotts is also good for designerwear (this is on castlewalk and is quite large). high st stores are next, dorothy perkins and a new huge new look on castlewalk
- gallerie sells names like firetrap/fcuk/miss sixty etc
otherwise dorothy perkins/next in roebuck centre. but thats about it
- Infinities- hey its great, everyone looks the same. This shop is solely responsible for filling Newcastle with lots of fat Oasis wannabes.
- Gravity is ace it even stocks Emily Strange
- Gravity sells really cool clothes. Otherwise, unless you're an 'Ethel Austin' kinda person theres nowt else.....apart from Next.
- "Zero" is cool - full of clothes, hats, shoes, etc from the 20s to the 70s. It's at the very top of Hassell Street.
- Er...none that are any good.
- Review
- newcastle must have gone up scale since I left, the best clothes shops were always the church hall jumble sales on a Saturday.
- Your brightly coloured shirt which doesn't tuck in and thereby hides your bear-belly is available at all the chain stores that clog the town centre.
- Hanley is the best
