- It's true Thomas McRocklin does work in a guitar shop in Newcastle. Sounds Live to be precise.
- Sting! my geordie mates hate him for turning his back on the city or something. : 0
- JIMMY BOYCE, NEIL URWIN, ETC...
- One of the greatest teenage guitarists in history supposedly works at a guitar shop in Newcastle. His name is Thomas McRocklin and he was the 12 year old guitarist for the band Bad4Good. Everyone says he works in Newcastle but I can't find a person search for newcastle. Can you tell me if he actually does live in Newcastle and where he works. Thank you. Rock on!
- scott cherry, jimmy boyes, neil urwin, brian johnson (AC/DC singer)
- urm..... NUFC players, Jonny Wilkinson (i dont really know of many more) SHEARER!!! probs most famous!
- NO ONE TOO POSH FOR THAT HAHAHAHHA
- Ahem! The ninventors and all the artists on the The Viz surely warrant a mention....
- Sting, save the rainforest mate, and while you are about it flying on Concorde doesn't help much with global climate change.
- Scott Cherry true grinder, famous ragi of heaton.
- Sting
- Ant & Dec! Byker Grove! Jonny from BB3! Give me a break!!! That as good as it gets? HOW SAD!!!!!
- Ranson. He truly deserves a mention as one quality skater. Oh, yeah - and gav (gay juan) for his utterly outstanding dismounts, usually face first.
- Sting...used to play above a pub in Gosforth back in the day
Kevin Keegan
Alan Shearer
Gazza(oh dear)
Mark Knopfler...DireStraits guy
Chas Chandler
others I am sure!
- Wittgenstein lived on Brandling Park, Jesmond, and George Orwell's wife is buried in All Saints Cemetery
- Jimmy Nail used to live on Gosforth Terrace which is the houses next to the
Station at South Gosfort
- Mark Knofler is from Gosforth - get it right
- Anyone who signs for Newcastle Utd. gains instant idol status in Newcastle, if you want
to see some footballers then Chase on the quayside is the place to go (I often see
Alan Shearer in there enjoying an orange juice), under no circumstances should you approach
them, in Newcastle we treat our footballers as people, and as such they should be
allowed to enjoy there evening in peace. If you want to get beaten up by twenty
skinheads then pestering our beloved Newcaslte Utd footballers is the best way to
go about it.
Before she went to work on MTV, Donna Air used to be seen down by the quay, she's always
up for it!
- yes neil urwin is sometimes a git but wouldnt u be if ya had kids pestering u constantly for free shoes when u were trying to skate. Neil we luv ya really.
- Am A aloon in rekanin that that Rooth oot of The Aarchaz is fakin a Jawdy aczent?
- The Animals - Sting, Bryan Ferry, Mark Knopfler - God the Geordie accent is SO fashionable these days just make up your own list - but be careful, North East people are VERY parochial. Bryan Ferry is actually from South Shields, Sting is from Wallsend and maybe Mark Knopfler is from Whitley Bay or something.
- As a bar man at The Gosforth Park Hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne, THE top hotel in the area (not that I'm biased at all) I get to see many a top celeb. At the moment we have Asprila, the new Newcastle united signing living in the hotel. I don't know how long he will be there for, but I would have thought it would be quite a while.
