Favourite Building
- St Michael's Church
- The Flea Market is quite nice. Apparently it used to be a chapel.
- Bursa kebab house.
- St Micheal's Church.
- Station (outbound)
- a memorable house in hanson
- Nat West
- Has to be the lifeboat station in the marina, there is also a small unused boathouse a couple of miles away in Piddinghoe. (Well worth a look)
- the flea market opposite somerfields
- The Fort - This didn't used to be hard to break into, but now there are real dogs and things.. If you can run off and sneak into the tunnels, maybe with a skateboard or a set of lazer tag guns, all the better...
Also, the cliffs and beach have old gun implacements that you can get into. And there's also a small amount of old WWII tunnel left underneath Denton (on the outskirts of Newhaven, heading out on the Newhaven to Lewes Road). No guarantee for the safety of these structures though...
- Hillcrest Centre - a genuine, community centre which runs an amazing range of clubs, charities and services for the locals - the owners (I'm not one!) should all get knighthoods (though they'd prefer nighthoods)
- There are no nice buildings in Newhaven.
