This is All Saints day and the day when the French go to rcieteemes to leave flowers on the graves of their dead relatives. It is not a day of rejoicing, but because it is a Saturday lots of people will make a week-end of it, and restaurants will definitely be open, but full of French people. So if you want a nice long lunch book now, otherwise you will be wasting hours looking for one that is not full to the gunnels, especially if you are on a day trip across the Channel.PS.
