Soth Heighton Music Festival 10th July 2004 at South Heighton Playing field. % bands, beer, food etc
- Newhaven should be commended for the sheer cheek of being the preposed site for a ten storie office block, considering, the previous tallest building record, is about ten foot.
- Not wortha day trip, not much of a town centre, you dont want to walk round it after dark. Mostly a route to Brighton!
- The R.N.L.I Lifeboat at Newhaven celebrates it's bicentennial in May next year (2003)
for those residents who can't count!!.this promises to be a spectacular event
which should last the best part of a week.
main events will be held in the west side recreation ground.
exact date will follow. see you all there (if of course you can read this)
- i lived there for a while and im kinda glad i left but its not to bad in the summer if you go to Brighton every day
- proposal to site an Incinerator in the middle of town.
- newhaven needs a major cash injection, i left it 18 months ago (thank god) the job situation is totally appalling, have to get to brighton for any hope of a job even then you have to go by train as nowhere too park
Public transport practically useless - too far to walk to the train station if you live by the cliffs, no buses up that end - well maybe one a week....
- The family tree of a true Newhavener looks like a telegraph pole.
