• Embassy Row (top skacore/bulgarian death reggae band from Colwell) are often spotted in Newport high street or Bus Station keeping it proper, make sure you go talk to them, awesome guys, rad band too!
• EMBASSY ROW - amazing band
• Alan Tidmarsh (Gardener) .Would you believe it just because he thinks he's famous they let him chop down a big tree that had a preservation order on it .TWO FACED A*****E COUNCIL PRATTS . AS USUAL!
• No one. Never seen anyone even vaguly famous. Mind Pete Boam (County Press photographer) probably has a cult following. Probably. Lee Bradbury may be seena round but a celebrity?
• Rowan Atkinson, John Major and Carl Cox part-resident
• Mark King does not live in Newport, but quite a few miles away in a completely different town!
• World-renowned bass player virtuoso, Mark King, is a resident. He was a founding member of that wonderful pop band Level 42. He also owns owns 'Joe Daflo's' Cafe Bar. The name is made up from the names of Mark and Pia's (his first wife's) children. "Joe" - Joely, daughter; "Da" - from D'Arcy, son; "flo" - from Florrie, daughter.

• My old mate Roy Morris, he lives in New Street. We worked on Whitbreads together in the 1970's delivering the beer. Everybody knows Roy.
