- The Tandoori up at Cobbler's Hall is one of the best there is anywhere, the chippy at Cobbler's does huge portions too.
- betties chip shop and.....Tesco!!!!
- ohh the kebab shop behinde the town near mikes chippy.....
- Krumbs is seriously overpriced but they make the best coronation chicken lettuce and sweetcorn/beetroot sarnies in the WORLD!

If you fancy the best grease in town visit moes muncher just past the rushyford roundabout(eden arms) heading towards sedgefield, its the best

- The County in Aycliffe Village has a chef that was trained by Raymond Blanc. One of the best places to eat in the North East. Pricey, but worth it.
- Pizza cottage rules!
- Mancinis in Woodham is good. There are a few takeaways in the town but they shut early - no pizzas after twelve. A few chippies but Beedles in Chilton is miles better than anything on the town
- Greggs is fantastic!
- Drive through mcdonalds off the A1M usually for a wee after driving 3 hours from the midlands to see me folks
- There's two chinease takeaways plenty of fish and chip shops and an indian or two. Aswell as the odd kebab and pizza place.
