- the DNA statue up Abbey street
- Radlands been shut for a couple of years now , council said usual "we`ll back the management", but wouldn`t bloody put hands in pockets )-:
Lings Wood, Ok if your desperate plastic half pipe / ramp / quarter / grind rail.
Pissing leathel when wet.
My fav place though is Abington park , the hill down to the big lake , rough as anything so put on some big wheels and get the foot spar ready (-:
- the steps and curby stuff around Sol Central can be good providing there is no security guard. Also, the car park and bridge around Weston Favell is alright, you make it what you can and put up with the fact this town's council is too small minded and stingy to give us a skate park. I know! lets not whinge about the youth of this town 24/7 and give them a skate park so they dont get drunk and hang around doing nothing. Us teenagers get a bad name.
- Abby St is crap, old faggoty bastards tryto stop you skatin, the police aren't too bad but the townies are fuckin dirty annoying stupid creatures not worthy to be on this planet. Not even worthy to be in Northampton-ha and that is sayin something
- Sol central is ok but you get told nicely to piss off by some dude who rekons he's a security guard. piss off yourself. If your feeling rebellious then just skate in the shopping centre, I did it once and I got kicked out straight away, but for the 30 seconds of fun I got it was worth it. I love pissing off townies by waving my skateboard at them and rubbing it in their faces. they hate us skaters moohaha!! If you want real skating go to Edinburgh, for stupid people that is in Scotland. It rock for skateboarding.
- near spinadisc, beware of getting mowed down by a skateboarder

- rad lands is now shut, ive only been skating a year then it shuts tipical, anyway the only other spots are in kettering or earls barton reck but it needs to be dry cus there both out side.talk of new skate park in northampton still waiting ..23/09.2004.names luke if visiting either park northampton sucks cock
- Radlands
- the pavement by the churh in the middle of town is cool.
- Radlands has a brand new mini and has got rid of the big vert! there is a flat bank backing on to the mini! Netto car park is kool(go to the back car park of the pharmacy, a few good gaps) in town there is grovenor car park but you get kicked out fast! Theres a little marble 2 at the top of abington street. Sol Central has a nice 3 and 4 at the front and some weird balls that are fun! Then at the back of Sol Central there is another 3 set with a small run up. There is a massive set (20.. probally more!) There is a steep 6 set (narrow as well). There is a big 7 set (shitty run up). In the car park there is a few ledges (to grind) and gaps (shitty little ones) and a really nice wall ride. argos has a funny little 3 set (good for laugh). The back of toys'r'us is fun. Hss in st.james is alright! coop car park is smooth! Spencer middle school has a 3 set and a 5 set! Earl Spencer primary school has a 6 set and a few benches. down the raod there is an 8 set just watch out for the crazy old people. BUT!!! I MUST WARN YOU!!! WATCH OUT FOR TOWNIES!!! Really watch out because they all want to beat you up for having a skateboard!
- i'd say radlands is the best skateboard spot in northampton.
- Radlands is possibly the best skatepark that I have ever been to. I've posted for nearly every major park in the country but this one rules. I love driveways, and well built ones at that, and radlands has loads of them.......
Seriously worth driving for 4 hours to get to. My mates hated it though cos the mini is crappy. who cares about mini anyway? I thought people only used them to warm up for the day.....
- there is a 4 set at road to morroco pub on bridgewater drive near abbey park.
5 set and banks next to weston favell.i ave a mini ramp but ur not knowin where i live
- rag lands me thinks
- RADLAAAANDS
- Radlands (Studland Road, Kingsthorpe hollow) - one of the first parks in the UK, and it shows. there's still plenty to skate and new lines to be found. 12ft vert, quarters from 4ft to 9ft, volcano, hip, driveways with handrails, flatbank + quarters set up. V.GOOD SKATING
- All Saints church. Now that the new benching and padestrian bit has been put in, its a good place to skate or BMX around.
- ...anywhere
- radlands is a likkle out of town but does bmx, skateboarding and in loine nights.
- Sweet 5 step opposite the bus station at weston favell centre. Also some banks for wallrides.
- The skate park on the rec a year old or so
- Radlands is probably your best bet.
- yeah where are all the good sskateboard spots?? not that i can skate muhahahaha
- RADLANDS rules!!!!!even if u dont skate, then u can just go and hang out and watch all the sexy skaters!!!!!its only £1 to watch
- Be sure to check out the two college campuses, Park and Avenue - Avenue especially. Slopes, rails, kerbs, steps, service roads passing through buildings - something for everyone. Underlooked.
- Radlands, estates, Town centre is fishbone paving and sux
- Only for losers
- RADLAND, it shit.
- Radlands has now changed the park has now got a bank setup a new driveway with 3ft grind box. A heavey hip and some new 1/4 pipes.
- Inside weston favel shopping center - i did it on a BMX!
- The Barclays building has now been knocked down but some developers who are replacing it with a nice marble shopping centre, look out for some skating action there soon. The Grosvner centre carpark is good check the floor on lower from the top for some waxed up divider things, but the Mayorhold's ground floor has a cool little bit with banked sides and high kerbs, but watch out for the rails though! Up the top of town on the Wellingbourugh road there is another cool carpark; St. Michaels, the top is very smooth which has lots of cool banks with kerbs on the sides, you cant grind them at the moment but riding them gets you a lot of speed!
- Excellent Indoor park - site of all those big competitions. 32' vert ramp built by Tim Payne, 12' mini. Street area heavy on hips, banks and blocks. Now with fun-box and roll-in off shop roof. Midi moved outside. Food (sausages) plus shop. Phone 01604 792060 for times and prices. Usually 10-9 7 days a week. Barclaycard Building red painted block, 5 stair handrail, countless other steps, curb islands, walls, drops. Law Courts are nice. Car park at Grovesnor Centre. Painted curbs and a few handrails. Car park next to it is the same, but busier. Best on Sundays. Long-stay car park. High, high kerb on three sides of a rectangle with a steep concrete slope on the inside, free standing kerb on the fourth side. No idea what it's meant to be, but it could have been built for skates. Best after shops have closed and cars have gone. Springlane School: Two banks at about 45 degrees meeting each other to form 90 degree hip. Platform on top and steps making a wicked canyon. Delapre Middle School: Well cool banks, rail-slides, grinds. Huge curbs and benches. Be discrete. Duston Middle school: a number of fly-off type obstacles and slidy pipes etc. Heated sessions most weekends. Homebase: Lots of small curved brick banks. Weird opening hours. Nights and Sunday afternoons are best.
