• I am also concerned about the ever-increacing capitalisation of Northampton, and the old being replaced with the new. Nobody noitices. Also, the increasing desisciveness of the police to turn a blind eye when it suits them. • I met the love of my life in Northampton, and really enjoyed my weekends there ( coming up from London). Especially had good nights at Roadmender. Everywhere has its bad places, but Northampton will always be a bit special to me. You dont realise what you have until you go to other places ( there are much worse believe me ! ).

• Parks -Abington park is the bigest although seperated by a road. Kingsley park is nice and big and usually holds the Balloon Festival.

• Semilong is where the red light distric now is but it is also where there is a lot of student accomadation because it is close to UCN Avenue Campus.
• KCC should be demloished and then rebuilt. Its not the greatest school in the world but it has some great teachers. • in kingsthorpe, near the book shop theres a shop that sells antiques to do with the army and the wars, is it me or is this shop never open!!!!!! we believed it might open at some obscure time in the night but having come home at 4 in the morning i'm not so sure!

• The Introduction of a new multiplex MGM cinema in the town has now forced the former town centre three screen cinema to shut.
• Theme park heaven? No, but Billing Aquadrome is within a couple of miles of the town centre. The permanent attraction (signposted off the M1 so must be good?!) has a few fun fair type rides but don't expect Alton Towers
