Record Shops
  • Golden Disc - where i bought cassette tape of radiohead's first three singles, Fools Gold 9.53 on 12", and exchange my Suede album for American Music Club.
  • There is nowhere of speciallity. Most people jus download their tracks.
  • Andy's records
  • [Shaw] Look, just get the train to Manchester. You might stand a chance of finding something worth a toss.
  • Woolies on Market Street in Shaw
  • golden disc, george st
  • bills record stall on't market. Is he still there?
  • One of the best music shops for DANCE & TRANCE is the PlayINN, Oldham Indoor Market, Tickets for all major events can be obtained here, Good Lads Too
  • Root's car boot, on a Sunday morning, at JoJo's night club, Royton!
  • Brocky's Market stall, Wednesdays, Fridays is dead cheap - about £8 for a CD, and there's a massive choice And Brocky's very nice as well, even if he is a southerner.
  • It used to be Ma Dobbs , in the inside market
  • Save Records, Tommyfield indoor market. Cheaper than HMV!!
  • A good selection: A large HMV and Andys Records, which has lots of obscure records from world music and jazz to rap and heavy metal. There's quite a cheap place on the Market, but the cheapest is Martins Newsagent in Shaw, where CDs are only a tenner (The choice there is crap though).
