- Local bands often play at the Comerades Club and Barons in Burscough. Various pubs (especially ones outside the town centre) have folky and acoustic live music.
- DJ in the Arriba palys authentic gangsta rap inspired by it's very own solid manager, straight of the mean streets of Ormskirk, innit.
- comrades is a place where most youth underage drinkers usually hang around, some bands play there. there is 50% moshers,goths and skaters there.
- teh greyound on tuesday night is open mic, its the only night its really packed in there, but the majority of musicians in there are really good
