• there is a realy good amater dramatics group in ormskirk called the pleasure folk they are always looking for volenters they reherse monday evenings at the civic hall in ormskirk
• Classical Music - Ormskirk Music Society. Ormskirk has a Choral Society and Orchestral Society dating back to 1890, and now combined as the single Ormskirk Music Society. The Summer Pops and Christmas concerts are very popular, and take place in the excellent new facilities of Ormskirk School.
• cool new shops there is a brand new shop in ormskirk caled out there its run by a guy called chris and if you like anything to do with movie collectables or realy cool stuff you will love this shop its in the indoor market right at the front so you cant miss its well worth cheking it out especialy if you are looking for somthing a bit unusual also new to the indoor market is a great card shop called personal touch it sell realy unique hand made cards jewelry and lots of other nice stuff again well worth a look
• the pleasure folk are a realy good group of ammater dramaticist they put on regular performances at the civic hall any one wanting to get involved should come along to the civic hall in ormskirk on monday or wednesday at about 7.30 pm everyone welcome

Diglake Farm for fresh fruit and veg at good prices on the Southport Road. The duck pond at Pool Park- just bring a loaf of old bread. Cheap to get into central Liverpool on the train off peak.

• Potatoes are a highly underrated vegetable. They'll be back... when you least expect it...
• If you are unfortunate enough to be the victim of crime, fear not. The police will come to you aid during normal office hours. The police Station is closed every night, weekend, and bank holiday. This is a blow to most yobs as it denies them the thrill of outwitting the police.
• HEY ORMSKIRK IS A GREAT PLACE, THERE IS LOADS OF BARS AND FAB PUBS, WE HAVE A UNI NEARBY SO LOADS FO GORGEOUS YOUNG PEOPLE! GET LOST
• Ormskirk hasn't forgotten it's farming rootes (it stinks sometimes)
