- The Orsett Cock is now a restaurant during the day with wonderfully homemade meals they do not only traditional sunday roasts but the food we have all come to love the great English burger and chips! plus a wide range of other foods! You have to go down and try the new menu!!

- Fish and chip man on Fridays
- The Whitmore Arms pub in Rectory Road, Orsett serves wonderful bar meals and has an upstairs restaurant serving a la carte meals and delicious Sunday lunches. Highly recommended.
