- Oswaldtwisitle Acoustic Club, hidden gem held 1st Saturday of the month. Upstairs at St Mary's Parish Centre on Lock street behind the Civic theatre. (The Weavers Institute)
Hosted by Dylan Owen, Ian Aveston, Anthony Flanagan. Much appreciated on BBCs Radio Lancashire Drift.
Dylan performs a multitiude of original satirical songs poking fun at aspects of Oswaldtwistle life. Ian an exceptional guitarist with claptonesque tendencies. Anthony ..the choir master general!
Open floor forum the quality of performances exceptional. The club is in its 10th year and regularly accomodates audiences of between 50 and 120.
