• Mac Jacs but thats a bit expensive. Any little cafe that looks drab,its normally good.
• Pizza 2 4 is a great place to eat. Friendly waitresses and great chefs. Pizza or Pasta! Cosy little place to eat that hardly empties your wallet! Come along!

• Leopones - excellent italian food opposite sainsburys.
• The Courtyard Pantry by Hobo the Florist's is a small restaraunt serving pub style food with a little added elegance and homeliness. Very reasonable prices. A little out of town, past the Gobowen Hospital, is the Orangery Restaraunt situated in the Derwen Centre for people with learning difficulties. The idea is that the students of the college learn to become more integrated in society through serving at the restaraunt. The food is basic but very tasty and the prices are unbeatable. More often than not I have had a very satisfying three course meal for under £2.

• Gusto's is pretty good. Sebastian's is nice, but can be pricey. LoCos is the newest place in town, giveaway that you are near to it is the trains outside (Yes, real Locomotives!)
• Theres a burger king on the outskirts which is alright... otherwise check out "Wot's Cooking" or the Salop Fish Bar... they do wicked pies!
• if you've got the dough - Sebastians on willow street is gorgeous and you can say hello to James Wiseman although he probably won't say hello back. lots of indian food too!
• Chico's - best pizza to takeaway, Salop Chippy is excellent too
• No Vegetarian hangouts...but if you like Curry or chips..your in Paradise!!
• The Raj - top Balti Doesn't have any brand name fast food outlets, a KFC would be nice!
• for a kebab- a must is star kebab best place in town....for indian- go to the Raj....best in town....then u got your normal eating take aways etc.......but after great piss up best place for best and cheap food is mcnallys go there
• The Simla indian restaurant is the best in the world!!
• Wot's Cookin' - the best chips ever!
