I have lived in Oswestry all my life and I think it's a great place as I feel so at home here but it has to be said, your site is brilliant. Although I like the town, I am the first to insult it and your site is laugh out loud funny. It's hilerious because it's true. Plane crash at Llynclys by Ann Southall (Member 10054998) on 5-Apr-2004
I am trying to find any record of a plane crash in a field behind our house at Llynclys, near the crossroads, during the war (not sure 1st or 2nd w.war). We have lived here for 27 years and have heard lots of rumours but have not found anyone to enlighten us. Can any one help please?

I've just come across your message. I don't know whether you have discovered anything about the plane crash yet. Someone who might be able to help is Rob Evans of Hengoed who has done some research into local plane crashes (mainly military). His email address is: AviationArt@mail2rob.com
