- Don't know how old the comment about the Brewery Tap closing as a music venue is but since December 2005 it has been very much alive and kicking! Check out the website www.brewery-tap.com to see the latest bands booked every Friday and Saturday. The best place in Oulton Broad and Lowestoft to see local bands and tribute bands.
- The Brewery in oulton broad; now called Oulton Ales (Formerly Green Jack Brewing Co, Formerly Forbes Brewery), seems to have regained the musical world, with regular bands on, and the Dutchmans also in Oulton Broad seems to ahve reestablished some of their former music venue reputation.

- sorry; this is lowestoft..... Music venus, restricted, to all intenses and purposes to pub gigs and the kind... have a few good groups in teh brewery in Oulton broad, or the dutchman, and in town at the Triangle and O'rilies and some other places, that I'm too drunk to remember the names of...
- The brewery will no longer be a music venue as they have decided not to renew the music licence. They are knocking out the stage and building a wall acrrosed the pub to cut it in half. NOT a popular decission with locals.
