The commodoor in oulton broad, and the lady of the lake (locally called the bitch of the ditch), the flying dutchman all in oulton broad worth a visit.
Avoid; the ole frank like the plague.
Oh, year, george burrow isn't too bad, and neither is the Waveney (don't confuse with teh wherry hotel, which is dire, overpriced and can't seve a drinkible pint)
in lowestoft: triangle, O'rilies, Wheatsheaf, Crown hotel (if you like paying too much for drink to be ina a trendy (by lowestoft standards) joint), The Eagle is a must; tricky to find for outsiders; but a no of pubs near by a worth a visit; cheapest beer in town probably found round this area. Falcon at the other end of town; not as good as used to be, only recently reopened. and too many aside...
- No more bands at the brewery. check out the music venue bit to see why....
- The Brewery
Oulton Broad
- The wherry hotel and the Comadore. both in
Oulton Broad
- Barts Bar- World famous now newly extended the only place to have a late
licence in the Broad,
check out all the groovy chicks (or perhaps turkeys would be a better
description) who gather here from the surrounding area. Just don't look
someone in the eye for too long, it's a dangerous world out there.
-
The Brewery- The only place to go to if you like it smelly and loud.
- Waveney, Dutchman, Commodore, Lady of the Lake, George Burrow, Wherry with children's rooms etc. Also able to walk to The Waveney pub (but need a boat when you get there to be able to cross river to get to it).
