East Coast Board Riders has moved into town. now on beven street, just round the corner from macdonalds. all the old spots are still skated there just not as smooth now. Come down and skate. see you there. (bring your quid!!!)
- If you want a more up to date veiw on the skate scene mail me on switchstance_uk@yahoo.com
- Collvile house is now picking up again. The old wooden ramp is long gone. Now a 20ft wide 6 1/2ft high metal half pipe. Big street course with plenty more being built for the summer. Afew comps on the way and the scene is now ripping. Loads of good skaters, and hot chicks hanging about, a really freindly place to come and visit. Skated by Franklin Stevens, Carl Vance and several sponsered skaters from the local area including myself. Check out the new shop East Coast Board Riders on London road south. Ask for Neil. See you there...
- COLVILLE HOUSE SKATEPARK - at the moment it isn't that good - none of the ramps are out although the
small mini ramp is still in operation. Hopefully improvements will take place in time for the summer
now you are going to have to pay a quid to skate some concrete!!
- 16' wide, 4-5' high. Spined for 4', now with 8' wide hip. But these are in a rotten state as of Autumn '94. Also small tarmacced street course, fun box, fly-offs etc. Rad scene. Open to public all the time, sometimes supervised. Great for any type of street or ramp skater. Shop nearby. The town on the whole is nice. Lots of windsurfing going on etc. A popular place with tourists. Train link to Norwich.
- Colville House (where Tarmac is) now has comp standard half pipe and new street setup on way
