Cheap Food
- The Ship serves much improved fodder now courtesy of the lovely Heidi and her helpers - check out the daily specials - at £7 for Ghurka curry you'd be mad not to
- BEANS also does great takeouts
- the lanters with gwantano! i wud like 1 chip , you like 4chip 2 wice and fwee fishes
- the coop serves up an almighty feast when hungry. they provide you with takeaway trollies to transport your feast. how nice of them.
- eastern spices,yangtze river,chip shop,china town,
- China Town restaurant, quite pricey but well worth it, Onkar, an Indian is also reasonably expensive but also very good, The Coffe Tavern is open for lunch and Kyans is open all day for pasta, pizza, soup, sandwiches etc(see above),The Italian is quite nice but they can be really rude in there in my experience, the mill is a bit further out of town towards barnwell, cheap and cheerful in a nice setting by the river - try the fajitas! There is another chinese take away opposite the theatre and how could anyone forget Eastern Spices, aka Eastern Crisis....there have been many nasty rumours about the hygene levels in there but i'm pretty sure the chips / chip naans are safe...just don't try the kebabs, for your own good!
