  • 52 Cornmarket Street
  • Anything built in the '60s and '70s: looks like nobody bothered to look over the planning applications for that whole period. Westgate Centre is obviously foul as is the whole former St Ebbe's area, and the back entrance to M&S on Pembroke Street is a monstrosity in an otherwise pretty street. Gloucester Green is pretty depressing: you could be in any godforsaken commuter town.
  • Wesgate Centre and it's Multi Storey Car Park
  • the building that is likely to be flattened in the near future is the tower in the biochemistry department, university of oxford. It is giving way to a modern glass monstrosity!
  • Opposite the entrance to the bus station - has no name but looks fuckin awful.
  • The Thom building. The windows have a sign on them saying 'warning, asbestos'.
  • Every single college and every single residential home. Start afresh I say. We live in modern times after all.
  • westgate centre - depressing air-conditioned shrine to capitalism
  • Said Business School - the appearance of it is somewhere between the spaceport in "Men In Black" and the Temple of Zuul from "Ghostbusters".
  • Said Business School
  • car park at westgate
  • Every Sixties building in Oxford. What the fuck were they thinking?? The city centre should be razed as well.
  • Clare's house.
  • DARK END!
  • Oh so many to choose from--the Westgate Centre parking lot, the Merton Warden's Lodgings on Merton Street, the entire Cornmarket Street lineup (the street voted second worst in Britain in a BBC poll).
  • Westgate
  • worcester
  • Magdalen College's Waynflete Building. I live in it. I'd rather be homeless.
  • seacourt tower, county hall, in fact the whole of the westgate area. and the whole of oxford university - get rid of the pretentious, posh f*ckers and do us a favour
  • Headington shopping district, it needs to be redeveloped totally. There are too many second hand shops and not enough clubs to hang out for locals
  • The coach station
  • Templars Square Car Park - Mainly because I live opposite. However I think it is the ugliest piece of Concrete I have seen in my life...They tidied it up recently - Painted it white!
  • Oxford Railway Station, it is so boring, not a worthy gateway to the city. Also the recently completed Sackler Library for being such an absurdly dogmatic response to the site and it's prime function and also for having an interior that looks like a product of Changing Rooms!
  • Westgate and its horrible car park! But finally this place is being re-built soon and extended with the car park monstrosity demolished. Also The Studio should be demolished. Worst night club in the whole world. Oh lets not forget DTMs. Another sh*t whole. The whole of Rose Hill - except the nice part!
  • Covered Market
  • Blackwells in Hythe Bridge Street
  • The science library must go!
  • The Sacher building at New College. It constitutes the main view out of my window and it is awful. It is also being refurbished and the noise is doin' my nut in.
  • Queens college
  • The Engineering block of the University
  • Christchurch College; as it is full of rich gits who could pay for another college in it's entirity. Thom Building-the engineering block; claims to be tallest building in Oxford. Crap architecture, built by engineering tossers (get a life)
  • The new Economics Faculty. Because I have to go there for tutorials. Go on, demolish it now, while my tutor's still in there!
  • Teddy Hall college. It is full of Rugby playing toffs.
  • Exeter College
  • The Bus Station.
  • Sir Thomas White Quad in St Johns College - a 1960's concrete monstrosity.
  • The maths department is the most depressing building I have ever seen. Otherwise known, somewhat eerily, as 'the institute'.
  • Biochemistry building, tallest in opxford, veiw from the to p is great, mainly cos you can't see it!
  • The Psychology department - and some of the other buildings in the Oxford science area. Somebody was far too obsessed with concrete.
  • I'm sorry to have to be the person to say it, but as much use as the Westgate Centre is to Oxford, the building is ugly as sin.
