  • Mainly on the square by the station seems to be where the skaters go.
  • Most of the skaters hag out by the station and the SAID business school.
  • The city has so much disposable income they have built and demolished about 3 skate-parks over the last 5 years. Some places in England are meanwhile deprived of even 1.
  • Cutslowe Skatepark; All street, asortment of sweet ledges. Iffely skatepark; All ramp, varying ramps ranging from 4ft to 12ft Botley bowl; Um... its a bowl in Botley
  • Oxford is one of those massive places that I've always wanted to skate street in but never have. I'm sure there is more than one park but the one we go to is damn good. It's near a school or church or some shit, don't ask me where. Not very helpful then aye? Park is good though, not a quarter in site, just a smooth concrete area with hipped flatbanks in each corner, a larger kinked rail, a concrete picnic table thang, and a huge concrete clock in the middle that has rails and a box on one side with a slope leading up it and a larger box on top of that forming a manual block to 2ft (maybe less) drop. It's dodgy but so much fun to skate... every edge has coping and grinds so sweet (like my ma)....Definitely check it out, does get kinda busy on hot weekend days but that just shows how good it is right? The local talent is pretty impressive to, and all the lads up there are pretty friendly, which makes a change these days....Plus you can't ride a BMX up there cos it SUCKS for BMXing and I've never once seen a stinking dirty blader within a mile of the place. Skateboard heaven at its finest....
  • On the other side of the road to the Sheldonian (next to Blackwells) in Broad Street seems to be the current favourite spot. Also the car park outside the Zoology/Psychology (concrete monstrosity) Building seems to attract 'em after about 5pm.
  • Broad Street next to Blackwell's on the walls of the Bodlean library. Little clarendon street, next to Wellington square.
  • Oxford Wheels Project, Massive Vert, Couple of Halfpipes( 6ft, 5 ft and don't know ) ,Vert wall. Rad!!!
  • calling all crap boarders get down to kidlington to skate the high street and outside the shit ledge so if you can`t skate get down to us rad!!
  • the iffley road ramps!!!!! this is 1999.
  • There are loads of places to skate. You don't have to stay in Oxford to find good places to skate: in the village of Wheatley you can skate at the Poly, which has some really great spots. There's also the small purpose-built pool at Botley. The Cowley Road ramps are history, but in the summer of '95 there's a campaign going to get somewhere new for the skaters of Oxford.
