Cinemas

• crap cinema, only one screen
• The cinema on Station Road West is apparantly one of the only independantly-owned screens in the country. There's only one screen and it's a small place, but it's recently opened a small cafe section.
• nice cinema just taken over by new managment
• the cinema has just been extended. its small but friendly and has a great atmosphere
• oxted cinema has recently been extended and it currently shows two films a day. it is quite small but very nice and clean, the staff have a good attitude and there is a ncie atmosphere
• The Plaza seems to be ok but ya bum does get sore in the terribly uncomfortable seats after a while! i prefer UGC in Crawley or Warner Bros in Purley Way for the more comfortable Option
• A traditional cinema in a small town - how many of those are there nowadays? It's amazing it survived the 1980's slump in cinema-going! Tends to show the latest Hollywood blockbusters, though The Full Monty was on for months.
