• Quite a safe place to visit, not without problems but generally safe...quite a lot to do, mostly in the summer but still a few things...Paignton Zoo is fab, lots of beaches, good fishing...depends what you are looking for.

• QuayWest Aqua park. The Zoo. Winners2000 Gym
• Hotel Esplanade
• The beach, from the pier to Preston - fab walk!
• The sea front in the evening.
• Fantastic place to live - friendly and laid-back!

• The best place about torbay in general is goodrington, the beach and the cliffs are beautiful at night especially when they turn the lights on at fairy cove.
• Friendly local community with much to offer for young and old alike. A good variety of shops and eating venues.
• The seagulls
• Relaxed seaside feel of it - the welcoming southerners (as a northener, this helps!!) and the busy busy summers thro to the dead as a doornail winters!! Inn on the Green's bouncers are crap!

• The sea front pubs stay open until 12. The sea. The sun. Thats it.

• The best thing is a club called "The Monastry" which is just up the road in Torquay. Strongly recommended if you have abundant natural energy and like rave music.
• The YMCA for young people
• The Summer when the place comes alive with loads of horny young foreign students and the pubs get busy.
