I'm fairly new to Paignton..consequently I have not had the chance to meet many people, my husband works abroad...are there any women out there is the same sort of position who just want the odd night out to socialise? A drink, cinema or meal...just so as not to go stir crazy...

The Berry Tree Overview:
You can make $1336 per month without sponsoring anyone or having to sell anything.
You can earn on everyone in the company. Even on people that joined before you!
This patent pending plan is totally unique, no one has anything like this.
The more we grow, the more you can make.
How it works:
There are 2 main ways to make money with The Berry Tree:
1. The advertising included in your membership grows your business for you
This advertising is used to bring in new members that are distributed evenly throughout The Berry Tree. Signups are placed under existing members based on their enrollment date, so people that join after you help you profit faster.
Once your 1st position exceeds $312.00 in profits, you are automatically given another position to increase your earning potential. Because your membership includes advertising to grow your business, your success does not depend on you selling on your own.
2. Refer others or advertise more to grow your business
If you want to make even more money, faster, we can show you how to easily sponsor others. You’ll get into profit faster and you can even earn on EVERYONE in the company. Even those who joined before you!
Your membership includes:
Corporate managed advertising to bring in new members and customers. We buy in bulk and work with some of the top ad agencies in the world to get more of every dollar we spend.

I realise that this is almost an impossible task but I am looking for someone called Liz, who lived in Torbay or Torquay and went out with Daniel Donaldosn in the 90s, for about 8 years. I think she may be married now. Please get in touch if you knew or know Liz or Daniel. Thanks!

More ‘Votes’ Than Evening Post – Bristol Indymedia – Publish Your News!
SOUTH WEST WELCOME!
PUBLISH YOUR NEWS
http://www.bristol.indymedia.org
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE ARTICLES - A Brief Guide
http://www.bristol.indymedia.org/newswire.php?story_id=25376
Bristol Indymedia now routinely gets more 'Votes' than the Evening Post ‘This Is Bristol’ website, according to the Google PageRank method! If you do a 'Bristol' on UK Google, Bristol Indymedia comes out at around 7th - 8th place, and jostles for position with the 'This Is Bristol' website. Join in with the movement to democratise Bristol’s corporate dominated media landscape; Publish Your News Now! It's only a click away! Click the 'Submit An Article' button and your story will appear on the right-hand newswire within minutes of posting.
BRISTOL INDYMEDIA - Read It, Write It, Your Site, Your News...
http://www.bristol.indymedia.org
PUBLISH YOUR NEWS
(South West Welcome)
http://www.bristol.indymedia.org/publish.php
Even though our newswire carries the banner 'Read It, Write It, Your Site, Your News...' it seems that not everyone is yet aware that this means exactly what it says. The 'Submit An Article' button, in the top-right corner, takes you to our article submission form. All you need to do is fill in all the form, click the 'Preview Before Publishing' button at the end of the form, to check it looks ok, and then click 'Edit Again' or the 'Publish!' button. If you have any problems filling out the form, or with uploading articles, please see our brief guide above.
PUBLISH YOUR EVENT
(South West Welcome)
http://bristol.indymedia.org/whatson/calendar.php
If you have an event to promote you can use our calendar too. Again, just like with the newswire, all you need to do is click 'Add Your Event' and follow the instructions, and your event will be immediately displayed in the calendar. If your event has an interesting report attached to it, then you can turn that into an article too, on the main newswire, to go with your calendar entry.
GUIDELINES
Only if your article is outside of, or breaks, guidelines will it be moved from the right-hand newswire.

by Lorraine (Member 10154893) on 30-Oct-2005
|
It is with deep regret that i announce the sad passing away of our dear John Dellor.
John was born in Ilford in July 1961 attending Cleveland School then after moving to Hainualt, Fairlop juniors and Secondary. John was well known around the whole of redbridge as a Dj, and worked in C & A Ilford and later as a Milkman in Clayhall. He was Arkela at the 11th Ilford North Scouts until he moved to Devon in the 80's. He went on to work for Pontins and then onto the cruise ships. In 1988 John emigrated to Sydney Australia where he managed in just 7 years to become just as well known and loved as he had in his life in England.
We lost John 28th October 2005. He will be cremated in Australia and then a Memorial Service will be held for all friends and family in England possibly in November or early December. If anybody would like to attend please email Lorraine on rainnie1 leaving your details and notice will be sent to you.
John was loved by everyone he met and will be greatly missed.
Sleep Well John. XXX ... more >>

Hi'
I went looking for the Devon Coast Country Club while I was in Paignton a couple of months ago, it seems to be gone and the people I asked couldn't even remember it. We spent many happy holidays there around 1970 - 1980. Does anyone remember "Uncle Rory" the childrens entertainer?, my kids loved him.
Happy memories indeed.

I had the same experience while in Paignton last year. No one remembered Devon Coast Country Club except this one lady who said the place was sold to builders, its a housing estate now. She seemed quite bitter about the way things had changed, hotels becoming apartments ect.
Uncle Rory was the best! Do you remember the scrambles on the last night and the fancy hat competitions - I won that once !
At 9pm, they used to do the conga to get rid of the kids. I would be in the chalet on my own while my folkes were getting drunk. It was still the best holiday camp ever. Those were the days! ... more >>

Its very close to paignton zoo. the address is waterleat road. i remembered the long stone wall at the front. i wish i'd enquired more but sadly i didnt. it is a sports college now but still looks quite familiar. maybe the next time im in paignton i will ask permission to take a closer look. its nice to know that im not the only one obsessed with the place. 15/11/07 ... more >>

by Edward (Member 10232688) on 13-Oct-2008
I Used to work at Devon Coast from 92-94 when it closed. It was in Smallcombe Road, and was redeveloped into a housing estate. The entrance to Smallcombe Road via the ringroad is now closed, you'd have to go through the Foxhole estate.
I think the long perimeter wall is still there but there is on other evidence of it's existence. The company that owned it in it's final days was Shearings, the coach company. Some staff went to work in the Esplanade Hotel in Paignton following the closure. Some moved around the country with the company.
The last site manager was a nazi moron, brought in the close the site he couldn't care less. The staff had some great parties up there, and many a fight, lol. They were all sleeping with each other, and the waiting staff were only in it for the tips. Fair enough tho, think my record was 50 quid from 22 guests over a 4 day break. ... more >>

by Edward (Member 10232688) on 13-Oct-2008
Also, the guy who thinks it was in Waterleat Road is mistaken. Smallcombe Road is half a mile away from there. The camp closed in October '94.
