- Virtual king of Pelsall is Simmy Mayo who owns most of the shops and has a finger in every pie - except the ones in the chip shops cus he doesn't own one of them any more. Local bloke made good and sometime local councillor he's a font of local knowledge. Often seen walking his realm, he's always available for help and advice - and he also does a lot for charriddy!

- Phil Gee, ex-Derby County. Used to live next door to my nan.

- Cilla Black came to Pelsall, for th first Blind Date wedding, at St Michael's Church in Hall Lane because the bride was from here.
- Some Bloke who owns Zomba Records Micheal Something he started off doing disco's, and his first one was at the Community Centre in Station Rd!
