- Kebab house, got a decent pizza from there too. They had a Christmas tree up in there last year, and some drunk muppet stole the Santa hat off the top while picking his order up off the counter!

- Chandlers, the seafront, excellent food / service. Paramount, Station Approach (skateboarders), best Indian in town. Cioni's, cliff top, expensive Italian.
- Ace Chinese/Chippy takeaway in Cogan
- Hong Sang on Glebe Street.
- go to Tony's pizzas not Frank's. Frank's are evil
- Tomlin's - South Wales leading Vege-only restaurant
- Lots of places to eat in the town centre and the Esplanade. Kebabs and burgers from the kiosk at the railway station.
- Mohamed and his boys never cock it up at 'The Paramount' curry house in Station Approach.Guaranteed good food for under a tenner, bring your own booze or drink theirs..
- Plassey Street Fish Bar.
- For Indian and Chinese try the main shopping area; for restaurants, the Esplanade.
- Chez Louis in Purcell Road: definitely recommended for its gourmet food, which is all home cooked using only fresh ingredients. Constantly changing menu dependent upon what is in season.
- Tonis pizza's on the beachfront ideal for a late beer and a cheap pizza.
- The Spring Garden. The best Chinese shop that ever could exist.
- Plenty of pavement pizza on the street but mind out for the copious amounts of dog turd in between the floor food. You can get your face punched in while trying to get served at the chippy's after the pub shut but it's much safer to stay at home.
