    Hi
My father mother and myself lived in the flat over the coach house. My father was the Gardener to the Home . The building was demolished I believe in the mid60s. We took up residence in 1946 before any of the children were housed.
Please contact me for any more information

    Hello

I was at the childrens home from 1954 to 1957/8. Not exactly sure about the dates but I was born in 1951 so was between 3 and 8 years old when I was. I have very fond memories of my time there. Do you know if there is any way that I would be able to find any registered information of my time there? And do you have any pictures between those dates? Thank you.

    From Linda

Hi my brother Desmond and I were at Seaview Homes in Bradford Place Penarth 1956-1958 and went to Albert Road Junior School. I remember a few names such as Leslie Weirich and his younger brother, Keith Leigh or Lee, Tony Calvert, Richard Dragon, the Harvey brothers. Sisters Lily and Lilian were in charge. I have very fond memories of the place and all us kids were treated with kindness.

I used to live in Penarth and I had a friend called Sharon Borley. She'd be about 34 - 36 now.
    Maybe an Aunt or cousin?
    Sorry can't help more.
Still in touch with a mutual friend if you want me to dig deeper. Borley's not a common name so they must be related somehow.
