• maccas. high street, panthers, glenmore park, plaza. take your pick. 3 KFCs, hungry jacks, 2 red roosters, krispe kremes, 3 pizza huts, 2 subways.
• Try McDonald's 'Slurry McFlurry' - Like a normal McFlurry, but with added 'jizz-a-la-smackhead'. Yum!

• The Baan Thai in The New Vic is a new Thai takeaway. Difficult to say if they cheap or not as they are the only one I know of in Cumbria, but the food is out of this world. The cook is genuine thai(not just a Thai cookbook owner!!). I spent 4 months in Thailand and it's as good as I got there. Now I can take a Thai meal home and watch the Footy.........heaven!!!

• scotts fish and chip resturant and takeaway is the best place in penrith cheap and very very very very very tasty food it is mint i go there every 2 days it is so class i recomend it but the small woman who serves the food has a definet atitude problem i am soprised she can even look over table but philip jarvis is class he is so funny and witty and janet jarvis is polite and warming at hart i recomend going there well defentely go there be for you die or you will have missed out on the best fish and chips in the whole world.
• Mc Donalds dont go there and chilli peppers on castle gate the kebab shop you will be on the toilet all day the next day
• Townend chippie is the best in town. The Dolce Vita in St Andrews Churchyard offers good value and quality Italian food.

• Far too many, the town no stinks, not of animal remains, as used to be the case, (the famous PONG), but of KEBEB, CURRY, KEBAB, CURRY, CHINKY, CHIPS,MORE KEBAB, TIKKA GOAT MASALA, ad nauseam, OH YEAH AND JESUS TAPAS BAR WHICH STINKS THE TOWN OUT (ROTTEN FISHY SMELL)
• There are LOADs of places to eat. All serve good food. Pizza Piatto, the new pizza spot, Cagney's, Indiagate, Taste of Bengal, Little Chippy, Costas Tapas bar, Platinum, Lotus Garden, you name it!
• theres a chippy, a chippy, another chippy and oh yeh i forgot theres a chippy
• maccy d's the main purpose of it is so that stoners on the munchies leaving castle park will come and buy some food, the self-service with sauces and whatnot means u can always get free milk, sugar and other necessities(i know i cant spell)
• Cagneys, where my gorge boyf sumtimes works !!

• mustafas is the most popular place for many young people to get cheap, half-raw/half-burnt meat and chips which are just plain rank with youths smoking around the open food-not very inticing...

• All expensive, mostly shite. Lots of pubs... all the "fast food" places are clustered together next to Ethel Austin's... And if you just want to settle for a good old McRoadkill with a side order of McChickenlips, it's up by Safeway next to the train station.
• The bloke in the Golden City will give you an appetite for more that Chinky if you know what I mean!!(Dave Bellas)
• Go to the Golden City. Dave Bellas is enuf to give a large appetite and not just 4 food
• Cranstons Quality Butchers Ltd. Once home to the three Butcherteers Twed Rufus and Jude. Now sadly home to only Mrs T, the white female lookalike to the famous A-team member.
• Cagneys is the better Indian in town no matter what you infidels think.
• why cant we have a damn domino pizza shop!i hate walking to the pizza shop when im stoned!
• King Fried Chicken on King St. Nice burgers (flame grilled) burnt..um sorry..COOKED on demand (no warmed up stuff here mates) and reasonable Fries (you get loads) The Chicken's good (if greasy) GARLIC BREAD is great too. Pizza Piatto on King St. Excellent PIZZA. can't say anything else, except it's a wee bit expensive for the extra toppings.
• Yummy Chinese takeaway food from The Golden City, Queen Street. Always TOP quality and piping hot.
• A Taste of Bengall. Ever wondered what 'Rover' tastes of? Wonder no more, once you've eaten here. Tastey looking waiters too! (Only if you are Lindsey Brench)

• King Mike at the Crafty Baker is God. Anything he makes tastes like heaven in pastry. Just pop into the Devonshire arcade, and try anything.

• Yeliz's takeaway - watch out for the Environmental Health Inspector who has his own office above the shop. You cannot beat the Little Chippy for some quality scran when you're out on the piss. Make sure to eat them in the Bandstand

• The Taste Of Bengal restuarant has dead dogs in their bins. They offer a wide range of dead dog dishes, such as Poodle Platter, Corgi Curry, and Chitzu Vindaloo. Take a friend you don't like, just make sure you have the omlette with the chunky chips. So you won't die.
• As your average Penrithian loves nothing more than a good meal of cholestrol and fat, numerous chip shops and take-aways are located around the town.

• Bewicks is very nice for lunches. A bit on the side is good for dinners, there's writing on the walls
• Birketts pie shop and The little chippy, they make great fish and chips!!
• Giannis Italian, Chataways Bistro, Toppos Giorgos, Passespartout are worth a visit and Ive heard that A Bit on The Side is nice if a little expensive.
