  • BURTONS
  • ROCK THE QASBAH........not quite, Penrith is mainly downmarket, and charity shops abound
  • There is Burtons for the affluent yuppie. They do some cool clothes, and also some of this new 'new -but -scruffy' shite. For the women theres Glad Rags, never been in :| and other places. There's also 'Lucky Monkeys', but you wont feel lucky as you descend into their basement shop to discover their entire range is a £400 tie-die T shirt hanging in a tiny room reeking of incsence.
  • go to carlisle
  • gladrags is the only half-decent place to get clothes from, everywhere else either charges too much or sells u things that fall apart in under an hour from wearing it.

  • Hah! ha! Sisley, dotty p's... that's it apart from the plague of charity shops... again, go to carlisle!
  • There is no fuckin shops
  • There are NO shops here
  • Ya JOKING?? Burtons........ummm!! Penrith is totally SHITE for clothes, Carlisle is bad enough!
  • You have to be joking me, Penrith is full of demented people who were brought up wearing clothes from greenwoods and burtons, try age concern
  • Burtons and thats about your lot
  • yes we have a great selection (not) GALD RAGS erm i don't think so
  • ethel austin
  • Glad Rags! All the clothes fall apart after you've worn them twice, and your Mum'll tell u off for the slogans on the t shirts but never mind.
  • GLAD RAGS GOOD BUT NOT THE BEST ! DOROTHY PERKINS= TOO EXSPENSIVE SISLEY IF YA WANT TO PAY £120 FOR A JACKET BENATON O.K
  • Go 2 glad rags. Tidy clotes.
  • Mmm GREENWOODS for all the latest fashions (for 60yr old farmer types) Varied GENTRY shops selling a selection of Brown Courderoy and a matching pair of 'piss catchers'. 'PATCHED' tweed jackets are optional seasonal wear. If you'e not local, it would be BEST to SMUGGLE some 'labels' in, just DON'T get caught wearing them as the local Barley-moe checked shirt brigade will linch you, tying you up to the nearest tree and start shouting WITCH!! WITCH!! at the slightest sight of an electronic lighter or electrical device for taking 'moving pictures'.
  • theres glad rags which might as well be oxfam!!!
  • Oxfam has up to date threads unlike Luckey Monkey's.
  • no DIECENT ones in penrith SHITE
  • Luck Monkeys is sound, carefull half the town doesn't look like you though.
  • u whaT?
  • Clothes shops? lol penrithans have got no fashion especially that sara baglee, demin queer lol ladge!!!!!
  • Lucky Monkeys is class but fairly expensive. Dorothy Perkins is here. Glad Rags (bit tacky though). You are probably thinking WOW what a great shopping place Penrith is!!hehe
  • GLAD RAGS BUT AGAIN WE HAVE TO GO TO CARLISE UNLESS YOUR LIKE KERRY SOWERBY OF SCAWS AND BUY YOUR CLOTHES FROM WOOLIES AND LOOK LIKE A 9 YEAR OLD GOING TO A TEA PARTY
  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  • If you want to dress like a moron, fine! Opal fruit coloured shirts a speciality! Anything else and you need to go elsewhere. Like out of the county
  • only if you are a male over 50, or want to buy over priced 'designer' shit.
  • Don't come to Penrith for clothes shopping unless you want to look the same as everyone else - there is only a Dorothy Perkins, Benneton and a couple of crappy cheap shops that sell rubbish clothes for girls!
  • Dorothy perkins is the only shop that sells skirts above the knee and that aren't all in floral print! oh theres glad rags its ok if your just planning to wear the outfit once as it will fall straight to bits, so watch those dance steps girls.
  • dottys and glad rags
  • Gald Rags and Lucky Monkeys! Ooh, ohh; I'm so excited.
  • THE CLOTHES SHOPS ARE WICKED..NOT!!! THERES GLAD RAGS WHERE YOU CAN GET CHEAP FAKES AND CAST OFFS THAT FALL APART WHEN YOU HAVE WORN THEM ONCE.SISLEY IF YOU WANT TO FORK OUT LOADS OF CASH FOR BASIC CRAP AND DORETHY PERKINS...UMMM ENOUGH SAID!
  • Lucky Monkeys - Cumbrian cloth at Cumbrian prices.New Stone Island and CP Company ranges just in!
  • Lucky Monkeys down from The Wolfe can be said to be "A Proper Cumbrian Clothes Shop".Higgins can be found in here as can James Holland when he's after a new outfit.Stone Island will soon be available here - well around 2010.
  • Sisley is the only decent one. There is a little tatty-tarty shop but I try to avoid it!
  • Oxfam has to be the place. "Suits you sir". We all like to follow the fashions set by the old age pensioners in Penrith. Emma Graham doesn't know what a clothes shop looks like so don't bother asking her were to go. If you do see her don't get to close you might stick to her clothes, keep to a safe distance of at least 5 miles.
  • usual small crap
  • A French connection is due to open in "teletubbie Land" AKA Rhegead at last some nice outfits!
  • Glad Raggs the place to get over-priced market clothes
  • - unless you and your mates want to all go out in the same outfit - but in different colours - forget the Penrith shopping experience!
  • Buried under an influx of charity shops and banks probably.
  • There used to be this really good one, but it got replaced by a maternity shop. Chunky Monkeys is alright
  • Dotty Perkins in Angel Square. Burtons in Middlegate. Brewsters - Outdoor gear Sportscraft - Errm.......Sports wear. Oxfam for all the latest designer gear.
  • Hardly any worth mentioning really, Dorothy Perkins, Bennetton but for decent clothes you must travel to Carlisle.
