  • Narrowgate coffee shop is the best cafe to hang out in (near the clock, in the place where the "high" street goes all narrow). Ruhm is quite good, quite new. Also has an art gallery attached... quite pricey though (out on the edge of town, along the road by the pool). Newest place is the Purple Sage - next to the library.

  • YOU CAN GET ALL the info you need on anyone in the town if you visit jeans cafe, just ask for a bowl of soup (code word) and they will debrief you on anything you need to know about the towns scumballs, funny that as most of them that go in there cant even afford the freaking soup! and usually get a lay-on untill giro day.
  • King Fried Chicken on King St. if you want authentic (not) Iranian food. Good to just 'hang' and plow money into the machines all evening.
  • JEANS CAFE, worth a stop by, even if it's just to wallow in the degredation whilst you "explore the ghetto" and mix with the local "Care in the Community" patrons. (they're harmless really, and the food IS actually GOOD)
