  • Isn't there any more. Glasney college was one of the most important buildings in England for over 300 years. Read that again. 300 YEARS! When the royals and the church were all-powerful, they sent their kids to Glasney, Penryn. Oxford? Pah! Cambridge? Shite! London? Where? Glasney? BRING IT ON!! Now, all that remains is a 4' graffitied stone. However, the good people of Penryn, not wanting to see good granite go to waste, dismantled the whole thing and built their homes with it. Walk round Penryn and you'll see odd bits of gargoyles and ornate carvings in the strangest of places. Do it on mushrooms. it's fun...
