- Yes please!
- Sean's Diner, Causewayhead, Penzance
- Curry Corner...its just banging, great food good price, nice people.
- Yam Parlour at the top of Causewayhead although evening opening seems to be a bit random. Not all that cheap (about £15 a head for two courses) but platefuls of lovely, imaginative veggie food. Oh, and you save money because you take your own wine.
- Steal from any one of the Co ops
- Seaview Fish and Chip Shop at the top of Adelaide Street is excellent as is Scott the owner!
- Always good for a Laugh - The Meadery - Eat chicken with your hands get drunk on very strong local mead wine
- The taj mahal small but fantastic
- The Yam Parlour is a vegetarian restaurant at the top of Causeway head. Its small but cosy (although the chairs are slighty odd) The menus are very simple in the evening (2 starter, 2 main, 2 dessert, changes daily) and at lunch its other nice snacky stuff (can't remember what exactly). Renaissance, in the Wharfside, isn't too bad for pizza and pasta and Olivers in Chapel Street bottom of) is fine if you want it a bit fancy. Kublais Mongolian no longer exists.
- New veggie cafe the Yam Parlour at the top of Causewayhead offers a continental atmosphere.
- THE BEACH CAFE DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE
- LOADS OF KEBAB SHOPS, INDIANS, CHINESE, MEXICANS. ITS NOT LACKING IN THESE. OH YEAH
PASTY AND HOT BREAD SHOPS ARE GOOD AROUND HERE TO
- The best seafood reestaurant is the Beach Cafe, downstairs from the Penzance Arts, at the bottom of Chapel Street. With sand on the floor and a net hammock in the corner, it is possible to forget all the howling wind and rain outside, and recall those hazy days of summer, as you enjoy the wonderfully prepared dishes. (Note: if you get in between 5.30pm and 8.30pm, you are charged only as much as the clock says, i.e. at 5.48, the cost is £5.48, at 6.15pm, it's £6.15, etc. Try and Beat the Clock!) (Extra note: this is not official advertising, i promise!)
- good food, loads of fish mongers
- A few restaurants and cafes but nothing special
- Meaderies- Regent, Waterside, Branwell's mill, Newlyn Meadery Kublai's Mongolian Resturant for something different.
