  • If you get bored of Penzance (or have been asked to leave all the pubs Pz has to offer) then try Newlyn. Swordfish, Star and Dolphin - always full to the brim with fishermen. Guarenteed a good night out when fishermen are involved.
  • Humphry Davy on pole dancing night
  • The Crown in Bread street is alright with tables to sit outside, but the local residents don't like too much noise after 10.30pm as we found out on the weekend!
  • Admerial Benbow! the only good thing from here is the bump on the head you'll get from the very low beams, it makes you see sence and want to leave.
  • There are as many kind of pubs in Penzance as there is people, Flannigans(Irish some live music), The Longboat(ok sometimes), The Lamp and Whistle(scary), The Crown(Locals Pub), The Peruvian Arms(local characters), The Fountain Tavern(locals again), The Star(sport, cocktails and pub entertainment), The Tremenheere(Wetherspoons), The London Inn (Avoid when Local fishermen are in), The Farmers Arms (pikey), The White Lion, The Humphry Davy, The First and Last(nice but small), The Globe, The Union (old people), The Regent (Fresh faced Crowd), The Turks Head (food), The Dock (serious local colour some good music), The Dolphin (tourists), The Bath Inn (Friendly Family pub), The Navy Inn(now good food, formerly crap), The Alexandra (on rugby days packed), The Yacht, The Lugger(mostly food now), The Smithy (scary),The Pirate (Outside main town but nice), The Admiral Benbow (Know locally as Admiral Benbow primary school you get the drift) and many more...........
  • wether spoons is cheap but very strict on identification.
  • ? WHAT? Pz has the largest number of pubs in a square mile or something like that. You'll trip over 28 B4 you hit Newlyn!
  • regent is good so is weatherspoons although it has no music no pool tables
  • Any person under 25 should avoid The Turks Head or The Union in Chapel Street and find The Benbow or if not only young but totally lacking in taste The Regent also in Chapel Street.
  • The Tremenheere the new Wetherspoon pub has taken the town by storm. It's been absolutely packed all day every day. It's clean and the prices are exactly what everyone's been looking for. It's already had an efeect on the smaller local pubs in terms of competitive pricing. I was in the Benbow last Friday and they've cut their prices, which is a smart move. Having said that it was one of the quitest Fridays I can remember in there!
  • THE ROYAL STANDARD IS IN HAYLE NOT PENZANCE
  • The Dolphin down by the Harbour, best beer in town.
  • 'Dock Inn' Quay Street is a beaut little old pub near the harbour with a pool table frequented by interesting characters & hosted by an even more interesting character of a landlord.
  • The Admiral Benbow. If you're looking for a pint, a punch or just an old-fashioned snog - come to the Benbow!
  • the irish pub is nice and also cheap!
  • A strong point. Lots of pubs but the best one is 'The Royal Standard'. Good beer too!
  • The Star - the closest PZ has to a fun pub The Longboat The Humphry Davy O'Flannigans Admiral Benbow
  • The Star - Main Street, Huprey Davey - Good music venue, about the only one actually.
