  • Holdgates in the South Street, a tradional fish and chip shop, been trading for over a century, however had a few owners. Theres a seating area at rear of shop. Basic but good,
  • Hospital street or Scone Fish and chip shop are the best, the one on the cragie cross sucks, fish and chips in a box! are you joking!
  • Nikki's just off the High Street serves lunch for the calorie-concerned. Also does takeaway, sandwiches/salad boxes etc not the cheapest but very tasty!
  • For indian try Mamzil on South Street. For Spanish cuisine - La Taverna is fantastic - try the buffet and get a jug of Sangria! City buffet for cheap, all you can eat Chinese. Jade Garen for your more upmarket chinese grub. Exceed, Let's eat and let's eat again for your more classy choice of menu. Pacos, and filling station for a night out with a big crowd. Also try some of the hotels - Murrayshall's club house is great for food and Balathie house hotel near Perth is brilliant. Also you have Pizza Hut for pizza or Pizza express for posh pizza and now Dominos for takeway pizza. La Sirria and The Italnian corner have good food.
  • Lots of middle of the road restaurants, one or two great ones, badly in need of decent Italian/pasta grub.
  • the panda house(formerly known as the garden)(North Muirton Chippy)
  • Perth is great for pub food - Sportsters and The Foundry are amazing!
  • For the best poshest and most fabulous meal ever go to 63 Tay Street on er, Tay Street. The menu changes weekly with lunches being about £20-5 all in and dinners about £35-40. Its a wee bit pricey but its worth every penny! And the service is impeccable, dress up in your classiest frock and get treated liek a princess!!
  • we just got a KFC and a Burger King! also have a mcdonalds (where hardly anyone goes now) a pizza hut, and quite a few good chippies and chinese takeaways. there is a pizza express, pacos and lots more.
  • New HUGE Paco's is good (if a little slow). And the South Sea Chinese on N Methven St is a brilliant takeaway.
  • Olivers, Tesco metro, pizza hut, maccyDs (a bit far out but yep), woolies if u borrow things as theres no camera on the sweets apparently (not that im authorising or suggesting u start shoplifting).
  • louis' restaurant, don't know the street name, does some of the best food i have ever had for adults, kids get pretty ordinary fayre, we as a family rate it very highly and regularly visit Perth from Edinburgh.
  • Curry your thing? Then try the infamous Tandoori Knights! Alternatively, the Shanghai does an ace Chicken Chow Mein! For a late night snack, try the BP Garage! Hardworking staff Old Bob and fresh new apprentice DJ Rosey Specs will happily turn a blind eye to you stealing a few packets of Doritios!
  • Let's Eat and Let's Eat again - two fab restaurants. Exceed is a lovely place, and Paco's and Bianco's follow close behind. Perth is a fantastic place to eat out in, but the surrounding area has some wonderful restaurants and hotels. i.e. Scrimgeours in Luncarty, and Balathie House Hotel - remember to book well in advance though!!!
  • Mc D's
  • Willows cafe is a nice place to get a cup og coffee and a bit of cake
  • Chippy, Indian, 2 Chineses.
